Sir,
Through the column of your esteemed daily, I venture to voice my views against the careless attitude of some people who are contribution to the spread of COVID-19 in our locality.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 pandemic has almost put a halt in our life. While we are maintaining all the safety guidelines and eagerly waiting for a new dawn in the post COVID-19 world, the contagious disease is spreading at an alarming rate. This is largely due to the careless attitude of some people who are paying no heed to the COVID-19 related guidelines as laid down by WHO. There is lack of awareness among some people regarding the ways of containment of the spread of coronavirus. Consequently, many people can be seen going out without wearing masks. They are not even maintaining the prescribed physical distance. If this continues, the situation will soon get out of control.
This is high time that we take effective measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. I earnestly request you to take up your mighty pen to spread mass awareness in this regard.
